Hannah Warrior Science Fiction Romance Cosmos' Gateway Book 2 eBook SE Smith
Smith seems to lack the ability to express things without repeating herself often by using the exact words and at times in the same paragraph. This happens often enough to be bothersome. One example of repeated expression with no apparent attempt to use different words was from two separate characters at completely different times.
The first being one of the female characters from earth who was explaining why it would be very bad if earthlings became aware that aliens existed. One phrase she uses to explain what earthlings would do to a captured alien is Apart piece by piece. The human villain says the same thing to an alien villain later in the book and the words taken apart piece by piece are repeated. Really? He could of made a ton of equally true threats/statements without repeating the same phrase. This book just like its predecessor has a lot of potential which is why I bought this one out of hope.
Other random things that just bugged me.
Random spelling and grammar errors. To many for a “finished” book.
I am all for cool open minded characters and free sexual expression. I have great appreciation for humor like the awkward yet funny scenario of parents walking in on their adult child in a compromising position.
But the Bell parents CREEP ME OUT. To walk in on their daughter in bed with a guy is funny, for a moment. But the mother walking into the room, SITTING ON THE BED and chit chatting while also touching the Alien guy a couple times ( yes only his forehead) is beyond weird. The fact the father is also still hanging out both he and the mom making reference to the alien guys arousal. The Alien Guy currently in bed with their STILL NAKED daughter as if it was any other conversation just added to the Creepy factor for me. I hate repeating the word creepy but it fits. I normally like open minded and freely expressed characters but the Bell parents seem to have no care for their daughters safety and certainly no concept of PERSONAL SPACE in this scene.
The bottom line I wouldn't pay more than a dollar for any of the books in this series and am ashamed I spent six on the first two.

Hannah Warrior Science Fiction Romance Cosmos' Gateway Book 2 eBook SE Smith Reviews
To be honest when I read the first book "Tink's Neverland" I was disappointed and only rated it three stars. Like a lot of readers I felt as if the story was incomplete and was hoping she would tie up all the questions in this book. Ms. Smith did that and more. She introduced us to new characters that in themselves can be spin off series. She also expanded on intros into the Bell family and I enjoyed the humor, openness and love between them all. Some readers will grade this low because of some of the comments that have been repeated in the book by different characters, my answer to them. Try writing a book yourself and get it published by yourself. It's hard work and an author puts a lot of themselves in their work. They look at it as their child and knowing from experience it hurts when readers give critical reviews because for the most part while they say they liked the book they rate the author low due to grammatical errors. Every book has them, even the ones released by large publishing firms. Self publishers don't have the luxury of a team of editors, agents, cover designers or the publisher advertising their work.
I personally enjoyed this story so much that I started reading it around four in the afternoon and only put the book down when I had to run errands for the home. The book is both humorous and sensitive as it deals with some of the real issues that plague our society. Hannah is both strong yet vulnerable. She resists love yet desperately needs it. Borj is strong, driven, protective and like all men he will make mistakes. However he is not afraid to admit when he is wrong and realizes like his brother he has much to learn about the human women. Their love will be tested several times but like every good love story there is a happy ending. If you want to enjoy a good love story that will both tug at your heart and make you laugh buy this book. I would suggest you purchase the first in the series but it is not necessary. This book could be a stand alone. I gave the book five stars because I loved the book, I can overlook grammatical errors because she took me away for a day into her world and made me believe.
Borj & Hannah's story is filled with fast-paced action, good vs bad element, lots of sex scenes & hot Alien Warriors. Hannah is a wildlife photographer who has gut feelings &/or a 6th sense & while she was out photographing lions she had a feeling that something was going on with Tink & decides to visit her. (Tink is Hannah's younger sister & in the 1st book). Meanwhile Borj who has been obsessing over a picture of Hannah that he found because ever since he saw her he knew that she was his; so when he gets the ok to go get a relative of Tink's & bring that person back with him (& he was really only supposed to bring back one relative & it was supposed to be Tink's mother Tilly but Borj wasn't going to do that as he wants to bring Hannah back with him). When he arrives in Cosmos' lab that's when the fun stuff starts especially as Cosmos was out doing errands & Hannah was upstairs in Tink's apartment sleeping until her 6th sense kicked in & she woke up & knocked Borj out with a frying pan & proceeded to tie him up. As I don't like to tell the rest because I think you should read the book I stopping my tale other than to say that you will love this book &/or series. I read this book in 1 day as I didn't want to put it down & now I'm off to read the next book.
